Introduction
The “Seasonal Promotion” Email Flow
There are plenty of email flows you can use to encourage your customer's repeat business. Today I wanted to go over the seasonal/holiday promotion flow. This flow gives your customers a deal to celebrate upcoming events. Seasonal promotions are a great reusable excuse to promote your business. Remember that there is no wrong or right way to format this kind of email. I will be giving you some important talking points in a specific format, but feel free to adjust to your needs.

How Do I Set It Up?
The way you set up your flow will depend on the ecommerce solution you use and the email service you use. Most of my clients use Shopify to sell their products, and Klaviyo as an email service. These two services have integrations with each other that make this process easy and intuitive. Other services will come with their own processes. A good place to start is searching the internet for combinations of the two services you use. Once you figure out how to record a purchase, you can then set up your flow.
1. Email One: Announcement Of An Upcoming Seasonal Promotion
- Create excitement in your customer base by announcing an upcoming seasonal promotion.
- Make sure to mention what your subscribers should expect from the promotion and why it's worth their time.
- Include a save the date to mark on their calendar for when the start and end dates of the promotion will be.
- Finally, give your subscribers a call to action to visit your website for more details.
2. Email Two: Promotions And Deals Email During The Event
- Announce the official start of the seasonal promotion.
- Make sure to emphasize the value of your exclusive offers available during this time.
- Showcase some of the deals with images to entice your subscribers to take action.
- Finally, create a sense of urgency with a call to action directing your subscribers to start shopping.
Email Three: Last Chance Reminder Before The Seasonal Promotion Ends.
- Remind your subscribers that your promotion is ending soon. Make sure to emphasize the urgency of taking advantage of deals before their gone.
- Display a countdown timer or similar graphic to emphasize the end-time of the event.
- Showcase some of the deals and discounts available, and add in reviews of other people enjoying their deals.
- Finish off with a call to action reminding your subscribers to act quickly and get their offer before it's gone.
